Kuami Eugene held a listening session for his EP titled ‘Sweet Boy’ on April 29, 2026, at Kangei Restaurant in Accra. The project showcases a diverse range of musical styles and features notable collaborations, reflecting his growth as an artist.

Before this release, fans expected another full-length album from Kuami Eugene. However, he surprised them with an eight-track EP that includes collaborations with Gyakie and Johnny Drille. This shift marks a significant moment in his career.

Kuami Eugene produced all songs on the EP except for ‘Oh How’, which was created by another producer. He plans to shoot music videos for all tracks on the EP. The first music video featuring Gyakie is set to be released the day after the listening session.

Kuami Eugene expressed satisfaction with the positive feedback he received during the event. He stated, “Everyone has their vibe in there, whether you like highlife, R’n’B or asakaa. Just take a piece of me with you when you listen.” This statement underscores his intent to connect with various audiences.

The listening session was hosted by Adwoa Noella with DJ Shiwaawa providing entertainment. Attendees experienced a blend of Afrobeat and highlife genres, showcasing Kuami Eugene’s versatility.
